We are excited to welcome Phone Myint Paing as a Master’s student in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, joining our group beginning February 1, 2026.
Phone began research at the Water and Energy Technology (W.E.T.) Center in 2024, contributing to multiple pilot projects. He now works with Dr. McBeath and our research group as he pursues his M.S., exploring electrochemical approaches for water treatment. Outside of research, Phone enjoys ice skating, swimming, reading, sketching, and collecting collectibles.
